Bartlett Chapel has always embodied what it means to be the church: not a building, but a people. We are a community of growing disciples, committed to Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, united together in the love of God, and called to make the love of Christ real to others.
Since 1860, Bartlett Chapel has grown from a tiny, one-room church by the side of the road to a friendly and caring spiritual congregation of approximately 300. Our current campus, situated on twelve acres of land, includes the main building, a picnic area, a softball field, a children's playground, and a parsonage. None of this could have been possible without the help of God, faith, and patience, along with years of love, working together, and praying together. We praise God for our blessings!

There is a place for everyone at Bartlett Chapel. We are an active community of followers, knowing that we are imperfect and messy. Our guiding principles are grace, compassion, and personal witness. We practice these principles, especially through social engagement and service here in our local community on the west side of Indianapolis.
Our foundation is in the Wesleyan tradition. We hold to the traditional doctrines of Christian faith, with Jesus at the center.
Our Vision is making God's love real to everyone.
Our Mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly.
The circles intersect at the center of the cross of Jesus Christ, the symbol of our deliverance from our slavery to sin and fear of death. The outer circumference of the rings represents the globe. As a whole, the logo communicates God’s sending of the church into the world. The sky blue color reminds us that even though Global Methodists live all around the world, they are all united together in God’s great creation.
The Global Methodist Church’s logo brings together in its three circles the one God – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – who alone we worship.
